Daren Jorgenson, the Founder and CIO (Chief Idea Officer) of the Jorgenson Group of Companies is a licensed Manitoba pharmacist and has been serving the healthcare needs of Winnipeg's core area residents since 1991. Over the last 15 years, the Jorgenson Group of Companies (which include the Winnipeg-based Canadameds, Four Rivers Medical Clinics, Point Douglas Pharmacy and Vault Salon & Spa) has experienced phenomenal growth in the Pharmacy, Health Services, Information Technologies and Health & Beauty sectors and has truly become a global operation.

The Jorgenson Group and its related organizations is a professional family of over 300 employees and contractors and since its inception has achieved revenues of over $1 Billion cdn. The Jorgenson Group has made and continues to make very significant investments in technology assets, and particularly healthcare software solutions that assist in the day to day operations across several countries including Canada, The United Kingdom, Australia, United States, Israel and particularly in India.

As a licensed pharmacist, Daren Jorgenson currently serves as a member of the Manitoba Pharmaceutical Association's Standards of Practice Committee. Daren Jorgenson has also been actively involved in various associations related to the international pharmacy services ("IPS") industry and was a founder of the Canadian International Pharmacy Association and co-Chairperson of the North American Pharmacy Accreditation Commission). In 2003, Daren was recognized by the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce and was awarded the E-Commerce Award for Innovation.

He brings to his operations the principles of sound corporate governance, strong moral principles and good corporate citizenship. These guiding principles have helped to ensure for his organizations an operational and managerial structure proving to be superior in all sectors of the healthcare industry.
