SHAUNA MARTIN

Director, Health Policy and Government Relations

Shauna Martin is an accomplished health policy analyst and strategic thinker who bring 20 years of expertise at various levels of government to the Jorgenson Group of Companies.

Shauna worked at the most senior political levels of government, serving as Director of the Premier's Policy Management Secretariat and as Chief of Staff to the Minister of Health.  In these roles, she was known for her ability to quickly identify issues, develop positive solutions, and communicate a strong plan of action.

Most recently, she broadened her experience as Executive Director of Medical Labour Relations and Insured Benefits for the Department of Health.  In this role, she oversaw the administration of the Insured Benefits program which provides medical coverage to Manitobans and administers the fee-for-service billings for Manitoba doctors.  In addition, she took the lead on Medical Labour Relations issues such as physician negotiations and contract administration.

Shauna believes that the current health care system can be improved with the innovative approach of the Jorgenson Group. “I'm excited to be part of a company so committed to being a catalyst for positive change.”
