Several years ago we identified a need for the delivery of enhanced medical services to the Point Douglas community and proceeded to expand our existing healthcare presence. The expansion required extensive physician recruiting and a considerable amount of time was spent finding a select group of specialists, of which we are now proud to have working as a team in our facilities. This unique group has such a diverse background we can truly consider our facilities specialty clinics and are proud to offer a range of medical services unparalleled in the community. Within our facilities we have designed an extensive variety of cutting edge specialty programs designed to fit the unique needs of our patients in the core area:

AFTER HOURS MEDICAL CLINIC
Currently offered exclusively by Four Rivers Medical Clinic, the After Hours program was designed to accommodate our patient's needs during the late evening hours. The program consists of extending our doctor's hours to 10:00 pm everyday, seven days per week. The program was designed with the intent of offering an alternative option to patients during the late evening hours, as well as relieving the over capacity stress that emergency rooms across the province are currently experiencing. RISE AND SHINE MEDICAL CLINIC
Currently offered at Four Rivers Medical Broadway Location, a Walk-In Clinic is open every Weekday morning at 7:00 AM, except holidays. This program is designed to allow patients to access physician services for themselves and/or their children before school or the start of their workday. KIDS KLINIC
Currently offered in both Four Rivers Medical Broadway and Four Rivers Medical Main Street the Kids Klinic is for all kids from infants to teens. The physicians running this program have demonstrated their connection and success working with kids and are proud to provide an environment that is both comfortable and safe to children of all ages. Many parents in Manitoba have difficulty finding a physician who accepts new patients, (especially their kids!) through this program we hope to assist parents and kids alike to find a physician who cares for their family. DOCTOR HOUSE CALLS
Offered by Four Rivers Medical Clinic, the Doctor House Calls program is an initiative that provides house call services to patients seven days a week. A physician will attend to patients with legitimate symptoms in the privacy of their own homes. This service is covered by Manitoba Health in most cases and does not come with any additional cost to patients. We are currently exploring a similar model in Alberta. LAB SERVICES
Currently offered at Four Rivers Medical Clinic in conjunction with Assiniboine Labs, the Lab Service Program offers onsite lab services seven days a week. The presence of an experienced lab technician onsite offers a tremendous amount of support and flexibility in the types of services that a clinic can offer, providing a better standard of care to patients.

FOREIGN PHYSICIAN RECRUITMENT AND TRAINING PROGRAM
Four Rivers Medical Clinic, under the guidance of Dr. Moe Lerner and with the approval of the Manitoba College of Physicians and Surgeons has developed a Foreign Physician Training Program that will assist foreign physicians get licensed in Manitoba. The program is a very unique initiative that involves a Foreign Trained Physician, training under Dr. Moe Lerner to obtain practical know how and experience with respect to patient care. Once a physician has completed his/her examination requirements as outlined by the Manitoba College, under normal circumstances, they are required to obtain one year of practical experience under the supervision of a licensed physician before they are permitted to practice in Manitoba. Many licensed physicians in Manitoba are reluctant to take on new recruits because they do not have the time or resources to so. This can present liability issues, a risk that many licensed physicians would rather avoid. Foreign trained physicians often end up in remote communities with no guidance or mentorship and often fail to complete the required criteria to get licensed. Our network of physicians has offered to mentor the foreign trained physicians with guidance from the Manitoba College of Physicians and Surgeons, and help them complete their practical requirements as outlined by the College. The Jorgenson Group of Companies funds the entire initiative and there is no cost to the government or taxpayers.

PAP SMEAR PROGRAM
Four Rivers Medical Clinic has developed a Pap Smear Program that will be a Nurse driven initiative helping women maintain a regular examination schedule. This program will provide an example for healthy living and a proactive approach to women's healthcare. We hope to be able to provide a similar program to that which is currently offered in Alberta, in which all abnormal results are flagged and notices are sent out requesting follow up care and testing.

DIABETES COMMUNITY KITCHEN PROGRAM
With Diabetes on the rise in Manitoba, particularly in the First Nations and Aboriginal communities, Broadway Four Rivers Medical Clinic will be introducing a Diabetes Education & Healthy Living Program. The program will offer educational seminars and pre-cooked meals to patients of Four Rivers Medical Clinic Broadway.

PEDIATRIC PROGRAM
Four Rivers Medical Clinic in conjunction with Dr. Miller has developed a Pediatric Care Program. The program will allow for healthy living, nutritional education and extended long term care to the hundreds of children and expecting mothers in Winnipeg's core area.

TELEHEALTH
Telehealth is a concept that has been long established in Manitoba and we strongly believe the alliances that we have created with Manitoba Telehealth Executives, Canada Health Infoway and the regional health authorities in Manitoba will assist greatly in establishing a Telehealth presence in Alberta. This concept will allow us to maximize medical resources at hand and deliver services at a distance.

COMMUNITY CLINICS

Point Douglas Clinic is one of the oldest clinics in our group and has helped lay the runway for our other developmental requirements. Through the care and service provided by Point Douglas we have identified health trends in the community that consistently need attention, thus focusing our efforts on the specialty services we are now providing in other clinics.

Turtle Island was introduced in the community to connect with people of First Nations background. Turtle Island clinic has been another significant contributor in helping us identify the specialty services developed for our expansion programs.

Established in February 2004 by Daren Jorgenson, Four Rivers Medical Clinic (" Four Rivers ") has quickly become one of the leading health care facilities in Manitoba. Four Rivers offers specialty services to citizens of Winnipeg's North End, including a Hepatitis C program and a dedicated methadone program for treating addicts. Four Rivers offers access to a Psychiatrist, a Pediatrician, an Obstetrician/Gynecologist and a Rheumatologist to compliment the on staff General Practitioners. Four Rivers is working together with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority to provide comprehensive health care services that overcome the barriers of distance and time through Telehealth. The intention for creating several Telehealth stations within Four Rivers is to help service remote communities all across Manitoba.

On August 1, 2005 we opened a second FRMC location at 647 Broadway Avenue in Winnipeg. Like the 878 Main Street location, Broadway offers family medicine, psychiatry, addictions treatment and general walk-in clinic medical services, as well as a diabetic program. It also has a Telehealth facility and a retail pharmacy. Negotiations are currently in process with several other groups in Winnipeg to acquire their facilities with the intent to open additional medical clinic locations in Winnipeg.

Four Rivers Medical Clinic – Westbrook location is now open. Our third location is located at the corner of Keewatin and Logan in Winnipeg. This clinic has a full pharmacy and specialties in Family Medicine and Women's Health. This location has received extensive support from the community and will play a significant part in our long-term goal to provide more accessible care to Manitobans though better service and care.

Lakewood Medical Centre – Our latest addition. Lakewood Medical Centre is now working with Four Rivers Medical as an associate clinic. Some new programs coming soon to the Lakewood location are more doctors, a full service pharmacy on site, online appointment request, walk in services, and doctor house calls. Four Rivers is excited to work with the Lakewood Centre and grow through their many years of professional service and experience.

Four Rivers Medical Urgent Care Centre– Coming Soon. Four Rivers Medical Clinic is proud to announce our next location opening soon at Sherbrook and William in Winnipeg. This location is an Urgent Care Centre, and will strive to be open 24 hours and be ready to accept and treat non-life threatening illnesses and injuries to people of all ages. This centre will have a full service pharmacy attached along with a full line up of physicians, nurses and support staff. The Urgent Care Center is a large step for the Jorgenson Group within the health provision and service community. Our goal to provide better access to healthcare for Manitobans is becoming a reality as our facilities continue to grow in experience, size and in capacity. This centre is conceived to assist the current problem within Manitoba of over capacity Emergency Rooms and long wait times; the location is in close proximity to the Health Sciences Centre providing accessibility and convenience. The Urgent Care Centre location is scheduled to open in Fall 2007.

Mountainscape Medical – A Health and Wellness Centre located inside the Calgary International Airport in Alberta. This centre is located on the mezzanine level of the main Airport Terminal. Mountainscape Medical will provide medical coverage and promote healthy lifestyles for the staff, travelers and visitors to the Calgary International Airport. We are currently expanding this office to include:

• Weekend and Evening Coverage
• Fitness Centre and Weight Gym
Our long-term goal is to expand our coverage with the addition of:
• Low-risk Obstetrics
• X-Ray
• Ultrasound
